What it means and where it fits

No jargon for its own sake. Each explainer connects a concept to a real service you can request.

What is business internet management?: Business internet management means one company sources your internet, coordinates the carrier, and manages the routers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, and support built on top of it — so the connection is part of a working system, not just a circuit.
What is internet failover?: Internet failover is a second, independent connection that takes over automatically if your primary connection goes down, keeping payments, phones, and critical systems online. It is resilience planning, not a guarantee of uninterrupted uptime.
What is managed Wi-Fi?: Managed Wi-Fi is wireless networking that is designed, installed, monitored, and supported for you — with access points placed for full coverage, secure guest and staff networks, and someone accountable when something needs attention.
What is a managed firewall?: A managed firewall is a firewall that is configured, maintained, and monitored on your behalf, controlling what traffic is allowed in and out of your network and adapting as your needs and threats change.
What is SD-WAN?: SD-WAN (software-defined wide area network) intelligently routes traffic across multiple connections and locations, improving reliability and performance for organizations with more than one site or connection type.
What is endpoint protection?: Endpoint protection is security software on the devices people actually use — laptops, desktops, and phones — that helps detect and block malware and other threats before they spread across the network.
What is MFA?: MFA (multi-factor authentication) requires a second proof of identity beyond a password, such as a code or app approval. It is one of the most effective steps to protect email and key accounts from compromise.
What is zero trust readiness?: Zero trust readiness means moving toward a model where no user or device is automatically trusted and access is verified continuously. Zapa helps organizations work toward this over time as a practical roadmap, not an overnight switch.
What is cloud backup?: Cloud backup keeps copies of your important data in secure offsite storage so it can be recovered if a device fails, data is deleted, or an incident occurs. Backups should be regular and tested, not just configured once.
